The level change on this garden was quite a challenge throughout the process. The well-ordered steps and terraced areas really make the most of the available space. The bull nose steps were very precisely installed and help to soften the effect of so many steps required to reach the top landing.
The pencil edge detail to the coping helps to give a very sharp defined finish. This distinguishes from, but also compliments the steps. The Iroko pergola stands tall but does not overbear, and is a great feature adding to the Mediterranean feel of the garden. This garden was thoughtfully designed by Louisa Allen and was a welcome challenge resulting in a really rewarding finish.
